SAMURAI RUGBY TEAM COMMUNITY CLINIC WITH RPS GRASSROOTS PROGRAMME

Date published: 11/11/2019

Hemingways Collection was proud to connect two of our rugby sponsorship programmes ahead of this year’s Safari Sevens Tournament in October.

The Samurai Rugby Team is an invitational 7s rugby team made up of internationals from many countries that has been coming to Kenya for the Safari Sevens for many years. Before the start of this year’s tournament, they held a community clinic with the Rugby Patrons Society Grassroots Programme at Braeside School in Lavington. The clinic was an opportunity for the young Kenyan rugby stars of the future to gain some expert coaching from the Samurai Rugby Team and learn some key life skills in the process.  The Samurai team also kindly donated some kit to the Rugby Patrons Society Grassroots Programme.

Hemingways Collection is a proud contributor to the Rugby Patrons Society Community programme and we’re delighted to have been able to support this coaching clinic.
